This game is a lot of fun. There is a lot to do and you can customize your character and equipment and unlock new objects as you progress. In addition, anyone can play it...the controls can be basic or you can use more complex (real) ski moves. My only complaint is that there aren't more ski trails/resorts to explore. -- Fun game
I enjoy the open style of this game. I like to get on the balance board and just explore the resort and ski or snowboard. I really haven't explored any of the "discussions" or challenges but I like the free access to the mountain. I really like skiing on the balance board but my wife prefers the remote and nunchuck only. My kids (5 & 3) enjoy skiiing with me too. I highly reccommend this game for a nice change of pace. -- Fun and relaxing game for balance board
I went snowboarding "for real" for the first time this year and loved it so I thought this game would be a fun way to snowboard year round....and I was right! The movements that the game requires you to do are def similiar to the real thing. However I do recommend that you play this game with the Wii Balance Board because the only downfall that I would say this game has is that it is difficult to play with just the remote and nunchuck. Other than that, I would def recommend this game! -- Def worth buying!
This game is a lot of fun, and it's for all levels of skiier from the novice to the experienced. I loved the fact that we could use our mii if we want. The only drawback is (and maybe it's just me) but I couldn't figure out how to ski with another mii. Anyway, still a great game and it gets you moving. -- GREAT GAME!
As a skier I bought this assuming it would be an interesting diversion for summer months which could not possibly match the real thing.How wrong I was!
It is amazing fun to use both with and without the wii board.
Even the sound effects of different snow surfaces are captured perfectly and the variety of options is amazing-different runs,lifts,ski areas and competitions.
I also found the ski school very informative and useful for aquiring new skills.
I recommend this game for skiers,snowboarders and those who have always wondered what the sport entailed.
I am going to buy a second game for a friend who can no longer ski for health reasons and I am sure it will be an enjoyable alternative.
In short- buy it-I am sure you will not be disappointed.
