User Reviews about Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast

It is great if you like puzzles. There are times that I simply had no idea where to go or what to do, but after 20 deaths or so, I would eventually find the right path. The force powers are nice once you get used to them and hotkey your favorites. Falling off ledges gets a little old, but its part of the game. Overall, it was absolutely worth the $15 I payed for it. -- This game is great!
This is the best jedi experience in gaming. It's superior to Obi-Wan, to Jedi Academy 3, all the "movie games, and even the recent Force Unleashed. It's very solid in nearly every single area (design, concept, graphics, controls, gameplay, sound, visuals, replay, etc.) and gives the best feeling of the power of a jedi. Force Unleashed is a close second to me, but it was just too short and the difficulty in certain areas (vader fight pt. 3, star destroyer, shaak ti) ramped up WAY too much to continue being fluid and fun.

KOTOR games aside, this is probably the best Star Wars gaming has to offer to-date. And yes I know in KOTOR you can be a jedi, but the semi-turned-based gameplay doesn't allow for the great feeling of using the force that comes from Outcast.

I would recommend this title above all other Star Wars titles and not just on the Xbox, I also owned it on PC before this. It is actually so good that I bought it twice. I eve hear this is one of the best games Mac users can get, if you're willing to spend 50-60 on a six year old game. -- Definitive Jedi Game
This isn't your typical run through game, you actually have to think and take risk at times. It does get a little difficult as stated in alot of reviews but that's the thing I like most about it. I rate this just as good as Jedi Academy. My only flaws were the default controls, those were a pain. I highly recommend changing that and the force powers were a pain to use at first but once you got used to it it wasn't that bad. This has a decent story line as all the Star Wars games do and fun to play. I had to use a few cheat codes on some of the levels (like Level Skip)because it gets pretty tough, but I didn't have to do that much, maybe twice. Anyways, this is a definately must have for all the Star Wars fans out there. -- Good Challenging Game
FIRST OF ALL I AM A BIG STAR WARS FAN AND THIS GAME ROCKS BUT YOU MUST BE REALLY CLEVER AOMETIMES THE LEVELS ARE SO HARD I HAD TO YOUS CHEATS TO UNLOCK THE OTHER LEVELS BUT THEN I BEAT THE OTHERS.
P.S. CAN SOMEONE HELP ME I'M ON YAVIN FINAL CONFLICT AND WHEN YOU GET TO THE THREE PLACES TO GO I8 HAVE KNOW IDEA WHTA TO DO BECAUSE IPUT OUT THE FIRE AND THEN PUSHED THE WALLS BACK AND NOW DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO PLEASE HELP ME. -- FUN BUT EXTREMELY HARD
